Summer Reading Series Giveaway: The New Divvies Bakery Cookbook!
This week, three winners. That’s right, three of you will win this hot off the presses:
The Divvies Bakery Cookbook: No Nuts. No Eggs. No Dairy. Just Delicious! has just been released (yesterday!), and you can be one of the first to win your very own copy.
I got to preview a copy, and wow, what beautiful book. It is wonderfully written, totally fun and kid-friendly (lots of party ideas), and full color. Love it. I did jump right in and trial a recipe, making the Double Chocolate Zucchini bread into muffins. Alas, I live at 6500 ft, and attempted to make the recipe without adjustments. Bad idea. But, our sunken muffins were actually incredible! We served them up as brownie sundaes and oh my goodness … SO good. I will be trialing that recipe again with some high altitude adjustments, as well as many others in this scrumptious-looking cookbook. These are on the top of my list:
- Cinnamon Buns (one of Benjamin’s (her son’s) top 10)
- Choose-Your-Own-Mix-In Scones
- Benjamin’s Chocolate Chip Cookies
- Carrot Cake with “Cream Cheese” Frosting
- Apple Fritters
If you aren’t familiar with Divvies, they are pretty much a legendary dairy-, egg-, and nut-free bakery that ships cookies, cupcakes, and candy throughout the U.S. The recipe creator and food allergy mom behind Divvies, Lori Sandler, is the author of The Divvies Bakery Cookbook. Her recipes do not disappoint. Want proof? I just might be posting a Divvies recipe on Go Dairy Free this weekend. Stay tuned.

Because one cannot have enough vegan recipes for cake!(Also the cupcake on the front of the book.. the icing.. I NEED it!!)
I would love to win this cookbook because I am very new to this. I have a one year old daughter with food allergies and I’d like to continue to feed her and her siblings fun, healthy meals. Thank you!
I receive your email reminders
I work at a preschool with 9 other women. 4 of these ladies bake goodies to share often (1 even has a cake ‘side business’). Since I have a dairy allergy (and still learning to eat vegan), I am unable to continue eating their treats too. It so difficult to turn down with nothing else to enjoy. Instead I would love to take them something delicious and it taste as scrumptious as what they bring to share… And be able to eat with them. They will be so surprised! Oh yeah… I would love to bake my mom her 1st vegan birthday cake or cupcake. The cupcake on the cover looks so yummy!!!
I posted the giveaway on FB.
I receive your email updates from your website and blog.
Wow.
I want this cook book so I can cater for myself and everyone else I love with intollerances and allergies for Birthdays to come
Awesome! I would love this book because a) I am a teacher who loves to bake treats for my kids but there are so many students with allergies these days b) I have a lot of friends and family with severe food allergies and its tough trying to find recipes that are great tasting c) because of my love for baking and trying out new recipes
I would love to win this cook book! I have a dairy allergy and have been working very hard at eliminating dairy from my diet for the last 7 months. Unfortunately, I was previously a big fan of dairy and I work in a restaurant that has dairy in almost everything they serve. While this has been a worthwhile lifestyle change for me, it has not necessarily been easy! I am trying to develop my dairy-free cooking skills so that I can still enjoy the things I love without feeling frustrated about things I can no longer eat. Cupcakes are one of my favorite foods & the picture on the front cover of this cook book is absolutely inspiring!
I want this book because I want my kids to taste eat food that is better for them, yet still delicious.
I signed up for the email list!
We have changed our diet to vegan/vegetarian and I am still learning how to make attractive treats and snacks for my family and friends. I would really enjoy having this book for reference and inspiration.

We’ve learned in the last year that our daughter is dairy intolerant and apparently eggs as well! Which means that as a nursing mom, I’m currently dairy/egg free as well! And who wants to give up all of those YUMMY foods??? 🙂
I’d like to win this as I have never baked any vegan desserts and am really interested in it.
I would love to win this book. I checked it out on Amazon and it looks wonderful. I have been altering recipes for over 20 years (when we found out that my then 1 yr old was allergic to milk) and it is nice to find cookbooks where the ingredients are not hard or difficult to find. I love cookbooks, especially dairy free dessert books, and this one is now on my must have list.
I subscribed to one frugal foodie blog 🙂 looking forward to reading more.

because i love vegan baking, but i don’t own any vegan baking cookbooks!
A dairy free dessert cookbook? Why wouldn’t I want it is a more appropriate question!
I would love this cook book because not only am i intolerant to Milk Protein but i’m also trying to general live a healthier lifestyle, following the Hippocrates Health Institution believes that living a raw food/ Vegan diet and exercising the body and mind prolongs the individuals lease on life and eliminates illness and ailments. Unfortunutly my knowledge of yummy tasting Dairy free/ vegan recipes is some what limited, i would really love to not only varie my diet by knowing more recipes but more importantly would love to start loving food again, love making yummy food and eating delicious tasting food, especially deserts 🙂
shared to all on facebook 🙂
