Yummy! Well, except for the milk and protein powder part! Yes, frozen bananas make it more like a shake, which is so cool. I love adding a bit of almond butter too.

My husband mixes up the smoothies daily. He uses a soy based protein powder (it does have some dairy though, so I stay away from those), milk or carrot juice and frozen berries. His new favorite is a suggestion of mine that is protein powder, milk, frozen sliced bananas and peanut butter. It smells so good and it is a great way to give him a good protein boost in the morning!

haha, aww I hope your husband fully recovers from his cold soon; and hey, your husband's "quicker recovery" so far is proof that a plant-based diet IS good for your health! :0)

Too funny. My husband loves the smoothies too. I make them for him almost daily. I would be curious to know what your smoothie creations, I need to branch out a bit!

Your husband sounds just like mine with the cold! Now if I could only get him to give up meat...I don't know if that will happen, but I will keep trying. He has definitely been more willing to give it up on a daily basis which is nice. He started doing the smoothie thing in the morning and he/I can tell a huge difference in the way he feels and looks(he has lost weight)! I totally think that more fruits and veggies is the way to go! Oh, the soup looks so good. I will definitely make this one soon!
